Homework for November 6th

Reading:  read 30 minutes. New WEB book and book diary. 

Have your green novel contract signed and returned by tomorrow. 

Language arts:  spelling due on Friday

Math:  xtramath and workshop assignment.

Reading:  read 30 minutes. Have new WeB book chosen by Wednesday

Language arts:  spelling packet due FRIDAY (this is a change, they are usually due Thursday)

Math:  math workshop assignment and xtramath

** bring library books- especially if you need to check out your new WEB book from our school library!

Interactive Writing - What are you Thankful for?

The month of November gives us a wonderful time to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for in our lives.  What are you thankful for and why?  Stretch yourself to come up with gratitude for something that cannot be purchased in a store.  (Required: Write 1-2 sentences including a main idea and a supporting detail.  Challenge: Use rich vocabulary, 10 word sentences, and 3rd level elaboration.)

Homework for November 4th

Reading:  read 30 minutes. Practice your WEB project. Have your new WEB book by Wednesday

Language arts:  spelling is due on Friday

Math:  xtramath and math workshop assignment

** DARE graduation is at 11:00 tomorrow. 5th graders do NOT need to bring a lunch tomorrow. 

Star students for week of October 28th
