WEB Projects Due on Monday
Dear students and parents,
Just a reminder that WEB projects are due on February 3rd. This month, 4th and 5th grade students have the same requirements. Students need to submit the following:
1. A neatly completed book diary
2. A final draft summary of their novel, typed or written neatly in blue or black ink.
3. A project that extends something from the novel. Should demonstrate higher level thinking.
4. Be prepared to give a presentation that is under 5 minutes in duration.
A full list of WEB requirements, rubrics and suggestions is listed in the blue band on the right side of the blog page.

Valentine's Day Party, February 13th
On February 13th we will celebrate Valentine's Day in our classroom.
If you would like to pass out Valentines, please be sure to make a Valentine for each member of our classroom. (A list went home go out today) No special gifts should be given. Students should bring in a box or container to hold Valentines.
If you would like to make a special box, we will be having a contest for the boxes brought in that day. There are three categories you can try to win for:
1. Most Original Valentine Box
2. Funniest Valentine Box
3. Most beautiful Valentine Box
We will vote as a classroom on the best box for the above categories. You may only enter your box into one category.
Upon completion of the Valentine Box Competition, we will be play board games that we bring in from home.
Looking forward to a fun half day of school on February 13th!
