WEB Summary and WEB Rubrics

Good evening families,

On November 4th, the next WEB project is due.  For 4th graders this will include a book diary and a written summary.  For 5th graders this will include a book diary, written summary and a project that demonstrates a main idea in the novel AND is part of/enhances the presentation.
Today in class we completed a written summary for our read aloud novel The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane  by Kate DiCamillo.  A sample of this summary is located in the blue bar on the right hand side of the blog under "WEB PROJECTS."  In this section of the blog you'll also find a document that has guidelines for a successful summary and the WEB rubrics that will be used to grade the projects.  (4th graders will not have the project rubric this month)
Please look these over and use them to help guide you in your project.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

As always, thank you for your support!  :)
